About Seakret

What Seakret is

Seakret keeps your personal photos, videos and files encrypted on your phone, out of your camera roll. You organise them into separate vaults, and each vault opens with its own pattern or passphrase. If you want a copy somewhere safe, you can back up to a hidden folder in your own Google Drive, encrypted before it leaves your phone.

Who makes it

Seakret is made and published by Out By One, an independent developer in South Africa. It is an Android app, available on Google Play.

How we think about privacy

• You hold the keys. Your pattern, passphrase and recovery phrase never reach us.
• No account. There is no sign-up, no login and no server of our own for your vault.
• No ads or analytics. Nothing in the app watches what you do.
• Plain explanations. We describe how Seakret works in ordinary words, on the security page and in the guides, and the privacy policy lists exactly what leaves your phone and why.
